Children can start from age 5 (Reception/Year 1) in our U6 Minis section.
Do I need any experience to join?
Not at all. We welcome beginners and returning players alike.
Is rugby just for boys?
Absolutely not. Rugby is for everyone.
Grove RFC runs mixed Minis teams up to U11 and dedicated girls’ and women’s teams from age 12 upwards.
Is rugby safe for young players?
Yes. We follow RFU Age Grade Rugby guidelines and all coaches are DBS checked and appropriately trained.
