Girls Rugby at Grove RFC -- U12s launching September 2026

Something new is happening at Grove RFC.

We are launching a U12 Girls Rugby section this September, welcoming girls aged 10 to 12 from across Grove, Wantage, Didcot, Faringdon and the surrounding villages.

No experience needed. No special kit required to get started. Just a willingness to give it a go.

What to expect

Sessions are coached by our qualified girls coaching team, following the RFU Age Grade Rugby framework. Training is skills-based, age-appropriate and designed to be fun from the very first session.

• All coaches are DBS checked and RFU qualified
• Grove RFC is an RFU Accredited club with a full safeguarding policy in place
• We welcome complete beginners and those with some experience equally

What your daughter needs

• Comfortable sports kit -- no rugby kit required to start
• Rugby boots or firm-ground football boots
• A gum shield (we can advise on where to get one)
