The Wantage & Grove Extravaganza 13 June 2026 - with live music, funfair, dog show, displays, circus skills, dance performances and much more.

Grove RFC is proud to be co-hosting the Wantage & Grove Extravaganza 2026 — one of the biggest free community events in South Oxfordshire.

Taking place on Saturday 13 June 2026 at Grove RFC, Recreation Lane, Grove, OX12 0FL, the Extravaganza is a joint event between Grove RFC, the Ray Collins Trust and Grove Scouts — three organisations at the heart of the Wantage and Grove community, coming together to put on a truly special free day out for everyone across the Vale of White Horse.

Gates open at 11am and the event runs until 11pm. Entry is completely free. Free car parking is available on site.

Why Grove RFC is involved

The Recreation Ground at Grove RFC is a perfect venue in the Wantage and Grove area with the space and facilities to host an event of this scale - and we are delighted to be able to support an event that involves the whole community.

The Extravaganza reflects exactly what Grove RFC stands for: a club that is about far more than rugby. We are a club for the community, and being part of an event that brings together families from across South Oxfordshire is something we are genuinely proud of.

Proceeds from the event support the Ray Collins Trust and local charitable causes across the Grove and Wantage area.

Come and find us on the day

Grove RFC's junior and youth teams will be putting on live rugby demonstrations in the main arena — a brilliant chance to see what rugby looks like at every age group, from tiny Under-6s tag rugby players all the way through to our older age groups.

If you have ever thought about getting your children into rugby, or if you are new to the area and looking for a club to join, come and find us on the day. Our coaches and volunteers will be on hand throughout. Or Click here to find the perfect team for you or your child.
