Grove RFC, based in Grove near Wantage in South Oxfordshire, heads into another important week of rugby following last weekend’s Oxfordshire Senior County Shield success. Attention now turns to the next generation, with the Grove and Didcot Titans Under 14s competing in a county cup final, alongside senior and junior fixtures across the weekend.

Saturday – Senior Men at Home

The Grove 1st XV return to league action with a home fixture against Abingdon RFC.

A strong performance last weekend saw Grove lift the Oxfordshire Senior County Shield, and the squad will be looking to carry that momentum into this fixture. Home support always makes a difference and it promises to be a competitive afternoon of rugby in Grove.

The clubhouse will be open throughout the day. Members and non members are welcome.

Sunday – U14 Cup Final

The focus of the weekend is the Oxfordshire Rugby Cup Final for the Under 14 Grove and Didcot Titans.

After a strong run to the final, the Titans have earned the opportunity to compete for silverware. The squad has shown consistent development, teamwork and resilience throughout the season and will be looking to deliver another strong performance on the day.

Support from across the club will be vital and anyone available is encouraged to attend and get behind the team.

Ladies Rugby

The Grove and Faringdon Ladies travel to Abingdon RFC on Sunday. Following continued progress this season, the squad will look to build on recent performances and deliver a competitive display away from home.

Attend a Leicester Tigers training camp. A great experience for players to develop skills and learn in a professional setting.

Kick off 11.00am.
