Senior Men – Away at Newbury

The 1st XV travel to face Newbury Rugby Club 2nd XV.

After last weekend’s strong home performance, Grove will be looking to build momentum and continue closing the gap towards the top of the table. Away fixtures in this league are never straightforward and the squad will need to maintain the intensity shown in recent weeks.

Ladies Rugby

The Ladies train on Wednesday evening as preparations continue following their impressive away win last weekend. Consistency at training remains key as the group continues to develop through the final part of the season.

Sunday Junior Rugby – Building on Last Weekend

Following positive performances across the junior section, attention turns to another busy Sunday.

Under 14
Travel to Coney Hill RFC. After a strong win last weekend, the focus will be on maintaining physicality and attacking structure against new opposition.

Under 15
Travel to Gosford All Blacks. Having shown resilience in the second half last weekend, the squad will aim to start faster and turn positive phases into points.

Under 16
Host Drifters RFC at Recreation Lane. Home fixtures provide a good opportunity to apply training work in a competitive setting.

Mini Rugby

Under 12 train Friday night under the lights at Grove.

Under 6 to Under 11, fresh from last weekend’s festival rugby, our minis are back training at home. After plenty of game time at the festival, players will look to work through learnings from last week with their coaches.

Support Rugby in Grove and Wantage

Whether you are coming to watch Six Nations, enjoy quiz night or support junior and senior rugby, the clubhouse will be open and welcoming throughout the weekend. Members and non members are always welcome at Grove RFC.
