Our senior team started strongly with a convincing win on the road, while our Under 16s backed it up at home with a superb victory over Bicester. Both results set the tone for an exciting season ahead.

The success continued at home with a Minis & Juniors Open Day that filled the pitches with energy and smiles. We were thrilled to welcome 70 brand new young players to Grove RFC, alongside our returning Minis and Juniors. From Under 6s through to Under 18s, boys and girls of all abilities took part in fun sessions, learned new skills, and discovered the enjoyment of rugby in a safe, family-first environment.

It was also the perfect occasion for our new gazebos to make their debut, helping create a welcoming space for parents and families to enjoy the day. With the clubhouse open, the bar and kitchen running, and plenty of rugby being played, it was a true celebration of community sport.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our incredible volunteers, coaches, and the tireless efforts of our bar and kitchen staff. Thank you all for your continued commitment — we are truly grateful to have you as part of our rugby family.
