Grove RFC saw the largest group training last night when a party of 14 girls and 21 boys from Staring College in Lochem joined us for some training and English practice at the club.
The boys had a session with Simon Wysocki-Jones and the colts, whilst the girls joined in with Helen Price, helped by Graham Welsh, Jeremy Renwick, Neil and Jonny Meardon in different skills bases.
Afterwards the students watched part of the senior training session before going back to the clubhouse to get something to eat.
The Dutch students gave a vote of thanks to Helen and the club and presented us with a mascot teddy bear and in return they received a Grove RFC medal each.
We wish the students a safe journey back to Lochem today.
