Gosford All Blacks 35 vs 15 Grove RFC

As expected this final was extremely competitive with the final score not reflective of the performance that Grove gave.

Lots of physical match ups formed all over the pitch with both sides giving their hearts and souls for their team mates and the win. Unfortunately the physicality of some players appeared to over step the mark with a red card given to a Gosford player just after half time, followed quickly by a yellow for each side respectively. In hindsight it would be fair to say that all 3 decisions were extremely harsh considering the offences which occurred.

Congratulations to Gosford All Blacks on their victory, with great rugby played. We are already looking forward to next seasons fixtures.

As a club we are extremely proud of our u14 set up, who lets not forget, were playing competitive fixtures for the first time. Adversity has been felt throughout this group of players and not only are they performing on the pitch, they are representing King Alfred's and perhaps more importantly have so much respect and loyalty to each other on and off the field.

We go again next season, aiming to put right the wrongs and compete on all fronts.
