In what can only be described as slippery conditions both Witney and Grove turned up determined to get a result in the latest round of u14 cup fixtures.
Grove started fast scoring in the first 5 minutes and never looked back. A number of well worked team tries took them away from Witney in the first half with the score 0-17 at the break.
Grove started the second half in the same manner as the first, scoring quickly and furthering the advantage on the scoreboard. The windy conditions were making kicking hard, however Logan Govans stayed focus and made 50% of his kicks, very good in those conditions.
The Grove players will be happy and proud of an improved performance which stands them in good stead for the next round of fixtures in the New Year.
