Thatcham II v Grove II

Grove second team travelled away to Thatcham in the 1st league encounter of the year, disappointingly with a weakened side due to unavailability of key positional players.

The game ended with a loss 20-3 to the home side. The score line however did not reflect the game which was much closer than this would suggest.

Some key performances coming from new boy Ryan Gordon, Pat wiltshire(fatty patty), Martyn Walsh and Dario Parris.

The only sour note was captain for the day Ady Amies being involved in an ugly fracas with the opposing captain whilst being talked to by the referee about calming down!!! A DISGRACE IM SURE YOU WILL ALL AGREE!
