U16s Rising High
After a brilliant start to the season, Grove RFC U16s have been named our Team of the Month!
The squad have shown huge determination and skill, producing a run of three superb results:

• Bicester – Win 39–28 (Friendly)
• Reading Abbey – Win 20–15 (League)
• Marlow – Win 35–33 (League)

Each match has highlighted the team’s resilience, teamwork and attacking rugby – hallmarks of the Grove spirit that runs throughout the club.

Developing the Future
A special mention to the four Grove players selected for the Gloucester Rugby Developing Player Programme:
Jacob, Logan, Bence and Eddie – a fantastic achievement and a testament to the strength of youth rugby at Grove.

The U16s continue to go from strength to strength, training midweek and playing fixtures every Sunday.
New players are always welcome — whether you’re an experienced player or completely new to the game. We welcome boys aged 15-16 years old - School Year 11.

As part of Grove RFC’s thriving junior section, the U16s embody everything the club stands for: teamwork, fun, and community. Grove offers rugby for all ages — from minis to seniors and ladies — making it the perfect place for families and players looking to get involved in local sport.
