Pre Season Training 2026 - Grove RFC
Grove RFC is a rugby union club based in Grove, near Wantage, Oxfordshire, offering senior men's and ladies rugby alongside a full junior and mini section. Pre season training for the 2026/27 season returns, with sessions open to existing players, returning players, and anyone new to the club.

Men's Seniors Pre Season
- Every Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00pm

- No kit needed for your first session, just boots and a gum shield if you have them
Ladies Seniors Pre Season
- Wednesdays, 7:00pm to 8:15pm

- Open to all, no experience necessary
- New players warmly welcomed, whether you've played rugby before or not.
The team is a great mix of returning players and several new this season, we welcome all players to Grove, with fully qualified RFU coaches to teach you the game

Pre season training is underway for Senior Men, and starts 22nd July 2026 for the ladies teams. Ladies training runs on Wednesdays throughout the summer. Mens every Tuesday and Thursday.

No. Both the men's and ladies sections welcome complete beginners as well as experienced players.

Boots or trainers, and a gum shield if you have one. Everything else can wait until you've decided rugby is for you.
