England v Wales Draw Sheet

England v Wales Six Nations Draw

To quote Mahatma Gandhi, who to my knowledge never played rugby, but was a brilliant human being, “The future depends on what you do today”.

With just over a month to go, 16 England v Wales Draw sheets have been returned to me, with a total take of £320.

I printed and distributed 500 sheets giving a potential profit of nearly £10,000 meaning there are still around 484 sheets not returned, with the potential to make a further £9680.

If you are one of those who have not yet returned your Draw sheet and the £20, you have until Friday 24th December 2015 to do so, as the draw takes place at 1.00 pm on Boxing Day, Saturday 26th December 2015.

If you have lost, misplaced, accidently destroyed your sheet, or for some reason have never received one, then please contact me and I will get one to you.

Please support your club.

Thanks

Roger Williams

PS I understand that some draw sheets, mainly in the mini/junior teams, have not been distributed because there were identical numbers on each sheet. This is not a problem, or a mistake, as when I receive each sheet back they will be numbered 1,2, 3 etc. When the draw is made there will be two draws made. The first to, draw out the winning sheet, and the second to draw out the winning number on that sheet.
If you haven’t distributed your sheets, please do so as soon as you are able. If you have lost/destroyed your sheets please let me know and I’ll let you have some more.

(Previously)

Over the past years the club has done extremely well on a number of fronts, not least at 1st Team level where, for a small village, we punch way above our weight. I’m sure we all enjoy this success, and quite right too, but it doesn’t come cheaply. To maintain and hopefully improve on that success means that all of us involved in Grove RFC need to help in whatever way we can. This needn’t mean a huge effort on the part of any member, but if we all do a small bit the cumulative effect can be dramatic.

In the next few weeks we hope to distribute sheets for an England v Wales Six Nations Draw with £200 plus two tickets for the game as the main prize. These sheets have twenty five numbers at £1 per number. A full explanation is included with the sheet and if everyone sells all their numbers, or buy them themselves, then the club will make a substantial profit – 100 sheets will make £2000, 200 sheets £4000 etc. However, it does need everyone to make the effort to do their bit, so I’m asking all of you to please support this venture and sell/buy all the numbers.

Thank you

Roger Williams
President, Grove RFC
