I have three items of news for you:

Grove RFC Lottery

The Grove RFC Lottery for August took place this lunchtime.

There was £392.25 available in prize money when the lottery took place, but unfortunately no-one had the winning four numbers – 10, 16, 17 and 24.

However, Andrew Kerr did manage three numbers – 10, 16 and 17, and wins a second prize of 25% of the £392.25 available, which amounts to £98.06

The October Lottery will take place on Sunday 30th October 2016 and will be for a minimum of £369.19

If anyone else wishes to join the lottery, which has now raised £938 for club funds, please let me know. An application form and terms and conditions of the Grove RFC lottery is attached.

Six Nations Rugby Tickets

The club will shortly be submitting its application for 2017 Six Nations tickets. The application to the club needs to be with Adrian Amies by Saturday 8th October 2016.

Adrian’s details are: 50, Mably, Grove Wantage, OXON, OX12 9XW adrian.amies@carrier.utc.com . The offer of tickets is subject to availability and you must be a fully paid up member of Grove RFC to apply. In case you are not, I also attach an application form.

The next Pre Match Lunch

The next pre match lunch will be on Saturday 10th December 2016, which I know is some time away. However, as it’s the Christmas Lunch, and I know of a few large groups who will be attending I thought I would let you know early, as demand is likely to be high and space limited, so please get your request for places into me as soon as you are able.
