Following the AGM on 24th May 2017 the new membership year starts the day following the Annual General Meeting and runs through to the day of the following years AGM.
All Senior/Colts players must have paid their membership in order to be considered for selection for the 1st, 2nd or 3rd teams prior to the first League Match of the Season. All minis and Juniors will have till their relevant first League/Organised Match of the Season
All players who are invited to play as a guest, who have not paid their membership will be required to pay a £5 match fee.
A guest player will be limited to the number of games they can play for the club in a season
There will be no exceptions to these rules.
If a player has taken out the option to pay by direct debit/Instalments this will be considered to be sufficient to play once the first payment is received. They will be eligible to play unless a payment is missed at which point they must pay any arrears to be eligible again
Any Player who is new to the club will be eligible to play immediately but will be required to have paid his membership within 4 weeks to be eligible for selection after the initial 4-week period.
Any player who is facing financial hardship should discuss the issue with the Membership Secretary (Storm Dinsey) or a board member and exceptions can be agreed.
For any player joining the club after 1st January a reduced membership fee may be applied.
All persons wishing to join or renew their membership must complete a membership form.
Membership forms will be available from behind the bar or direct from the membership secretary.
Only Grove RFC members will be entitled to the many benefits that the club provides.
Examples of these benefits include, Physio, International tickets and reduced prices over the bar.
