I have not yet been given the final figure of the profit made from the Extravaganza yesterday, but I am sure it will be an encouraging figure and will be published in due course.

In the meantime I would like to thank all members of Grove RFC who contributed to a fantastic day yesterday, whether it was on the bar, the barbaque, the stalls, car park, litter collecting or any other aspect of the day.

Apart from the obvious financial benefits, these events do so much good for our standing in the community which in turn helps us gain other untold benefits. It good, too, that as a family orientated, community based club we are able to offer a valuable service to the area in which we live and events such as this, along with the Fireworks night, Mini Rugby Festival plus others enhance the good name of Grove RFC in this area of Oxfordshire. None of this would be possible without the support of club members who give their time and energy freely and I would like to record my thanks and appreciation for a job well done.
