From Oxford
Take the A420 road to Swindon, after about 7 miles turn left onto the
A338, heading towards Wantage. Keep on this road for another 7 miles. You
now go over a railway bridge, on the left you will see the Volunteer Pub,
on the right you will go past Williams Grand Prix Racing. After another 100
yards turn right into Grove. Go over traffic calming humps and straight on at the first mini roundabout; turn right at the
next mini roundabout. Turn left at the third mini roundabout into Brerreton drive. At the right hand
bend turn left. This takes you to the Grove RFC Clubhouse and pitches.

| From Reading Take the M4 to
junction 13, head north on the A34 towards Oxford, at Chilton come off the
A34 sign posted Wantage, You now come up to a T junction turn Left, straight
over first roundabout, go past A.E.R.E Harwell on your left, at the next
roundabout turn left onto the A417, stay on this road. After about 7 miles
you will come to a double mini roundabout, turn right. After 1 mile you will come
to a T junction with traffic lights, turn right. Next roundabout turn left,
next round about turn right, follow the S bend round to another T junction, turn
right. At the left hand bend, go straight on then turn right. You are now
at Grove RFC Clubhouse and pitches. |
From Swindon Take the A420
towards Oxford for about 15 miles, half a mile after the Faringdon roundabout
turn right onto the A417, go through Stanford in the Vale after 6 miles
you will come to Wantage, just as you come to the outskirts of Wantage you
will come up to a double roundabout. Take the left turn to Grove. Go over three mini-roundabouts to a main roundabout. Straight over. Follow the road (rugby pitches appear on your right) around an S bend to a T junction. Turn right. At the left hand bend, go straight on then turn right. You are
now at Grove RFCClubhouse and pitches. |
