Membership 2016/17

Note: further information available from the the options in the sidebar navigation bars above and to the left, e.g. For Parents and for Players New to the Club.

New and existing Members need to complete a Membership Form annually. This includes details of fees and discounts, including free bundled Social Memberships for non-playing Parents, Guardians and Spouses.

Family members and friends are encouraged to join as Social Members, to add financial and moral support to their Players and the Club!

RFU membership

RFU registration (or re-registration) will be needed for new Members and late renewals (after September, so renew your membership asap to avoid hassle, including need for new photos!). RFU membership is mandatory to play in matches.

The Club processes RFU registrations and automatically takes care of annual renewals for Members who have renewed their Club Membership promptly (i.e. by end-September), via the RFU's Rugby First facility.

New, U13 and lapsed Members will need to complete RFU Registration Forms. The RFU has become much stricter about re-registration. This makes it all the more important to renew your annual membership promptly.

  • New, lapsed and U13 registrations also need to provide two passport-sized photographs.

Consent and contact form

Squads should be given up-to-date consent and contact form for every player.

So, what do I actually need to do!?

Board members are in the clubhouse every Sunday morning in September, to receive forms and fees (cash, card or cheque), welcome new players, and answer questions -- and usually every Sunday through the season (if in doubt, ask at the bar).

You can also renew and register early, through the off-season, when the Clubhouse is open Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well as other times. Make contact in advance if you want to be sure someone will be there.

  • Forms can be handed in and membership paid at the Bar in the Clubhouse.
  • Payment can now also be made online, in full or by regular installments, at http://www.groverfc.co.uk/payments.
  • During September, board members and other section officials will be available in the Clubhouse on Sunday mornings to help with new and renewing memberships, particularly for Minis, Juniors and Girls.
  • Please ask for further details, if needed.
